Guacamole

 Guacamole is a traditional Mexican dip made from ripe avocados, offering a creamy texture and rich flavor. Here’s a classic recipe to prepare guacamole:


Ingredients:

2 ripe Hass avocados

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 small tomato, deseeded and chopped

1-2 jalapeño peppers, deseeded and finely chopped (adjust to taste)

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste


Instructions:

1. Prepare the Avocados: Slice the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.

2. Mash the Avocados: Using a fork, gently mash the avocados to your desired consistency—either chunky or smooth.

3. Combine Ingredients: Add the chopped onion, tomato, jalapeño peppers, minced garlic, and cilantro to the mashed avocados.

4. Season: Pour in the lime juice and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

5. Mix: Stir all ingredients together until well combined.

6. Serve: Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl and serve immediately with tortilla chips, fresh vegetables, or as a topping for your favorite dishes.


Tips:

Variations: Some traditional recipes include adding roasted tomatoes or tomatillos for an extra depth of flavor. 

Storage: To prevent the guacamole from browning, press plastic wrap directly onto its surface before refrigerating leftovers.
